‘American Sniper’ Chris Kyle remembered on 6th anniversary of death

Saturday marks the sixth anniversary of the death of former Navy Seal Chris Kyle — the man known for his deadly reputation as a sniper during his five combat tours in Iraq.

Kyle was also known for his best-selling book, “American Sniper: The Autobiography of the Most Lethal Sniper in U.S. Military History,” where he wrote of his experience in combat.

The book was later turned into a movie called “American Sniper.”

He was also known for his outspokenness of gun control and his involvement in the support of fellow vets suffering from post-traumatic stress syndrome (PTSD).

In 2013, Kyle was 38-years-old when he was shot to death at a Texas gun range by a former Marine, Eddie Ray Routh. Kyle’s friend, Chad Littlefield, was also shot to death during the incident.
