Dude! That was sweet! X-Mas day edition

Part 2 of our plays of the year series features the Pueblo West baseball team. The Cyclones beat Silver Creek twice in one day to claim the state championship. West rallied from a 5-1 deficit with just nine outs to go to win the first game. In the second game, Pueblo West finished their journey with an 8-6 win.

Rubert Shaw pitched a complete game shut-out to give the Peyton Panthers a 3-0 win over Fowler and the school's first state title.

Pine Creek running back David Moore III finished his career as the state's third all-time leading rusher, and won two state titles.

Anthony "Deuce" Roberson is fast, versatile, and unstoppable. The Palmer Ridge receiver ended his career as the state's all-time leading receiver. Roberson helped the Bears win three straight state titles.
