Dew Tour to likely not return to Breckenridge Ski Resort in 2019

The annual Dew Tour snowboarding and skiing event may not return to Breckenridge Ski Resort in December.

According to an email from Dew Tour spokeswoman Melissa Gullotti Thursday the Dew Tour is currently in active discussion, with several reports about the future location of the event.

The contract between Dew Tour and Breckenridge Ski Resort ended after last month’s tour. This means ‘Mountain Dew’ could be looking for a new venue to host the event. The most recent event was the 11th consecutive year for the Dew Tour competitions to take place in Breckenridge.

“While our current contract expired with last month’s event,” Breckenridge Ski Resort spokeswoman Sara Lococo said in an email on Thursday, “Vail Resorts, TEN and PepsiCo are currently working on negotiations for the future.”
