Colorado Springs Police investigating fatal accident

Colorado Springs Police is working a fatal accident at a convenience store on Academy and Palmer Park Blvd.

At this hour, the northbound and southbound lanes of Academy are closed between La Salle and E. San Miguel. The eastbound and westbound lanes of Palmer Park are closed between Potter and Baylor.

At this time investigators believe alcohol and recklessness were factors in this accident.
