Man wanted in nationwide manhunt, could be armed and dangerous
Monument police are looking to locate a man they believe to be armed and dangerous.
Juan Sebastian De La Vega-King, 27, is wanted by police nationwide after records show he was stealing items from several states.
According to a police report, some of the items stolen by De La Vega-King were firearms, one revolver and one rifle, and prescription drugs, including a bottle of Vicodin.
De La Vega-King is known for having firearms on him and was last seen with a 1911 pistol, possibly a Colt, in his possession. He also is said to have been in possession of two ballistic body armor vests, one of those which was collected by police after they were called to a home in the 17000 block of Hulls Way Tuesday on a reported theft.
De La Vega-King’s lengthy criminal history shows multiple other convictions, including felonies for controlled substances, burglary, and weapons offenses. These convictions make it illegal for him to possess any firearms or body armor.
He is believed to be a white male, around 5’08” tall and approximately 150 pounds. He’s said to have brown hair, brown eyes, and wears a nose ring. The most recent picture shows him with parts of his hair being dyed blonde.
