Trial set for Colorado father accused of killing 13-year-old son in 2012

Mark Redwine, the man accused of killing his son in southwest Colorado in 2012, pleaded not guilty in a La Plata County courtroom Friday morning.

A trial for Redwine will begin on November 26th.

Redwine is charged with second-degree murder and child abuse resulting in death. Those charges stem from the death of his 13-year-old son, Dylan Redwine. The boy was visiting his father’s home in Vallecito, near Durango, when he disappeared in 2012. His remained were later found.

Mark Redwine wasn’t arrested until 2017.
