Man robs Colorado Springs bank, flees on bicycle
He’s not your traditional bike thief — Colorado Springs police are looking for a man who robbed a bank Tuesday afternoon and then ran pedaled away on two wheels.
Police say the robbery happened a little after 12:30 p.m. at the Independent Bank on Lake Avenue. A man gave a note to a clerk demanding cash. The man then fled west on a bike.
Detectives are investigating, but no description of the suspect was given.
