Community hosts yard sale and auction fundraiser to replace damaged Hanover Fire equipment
With all the recent fires over the past couple months, fire vehicles have taken a beating.
Over the weekend, the community came together to help restore some of them.
The Hanover Fire Department’s trucks were among those that sustained damaged during the fires in that area over the last few months.
The Hanover and Fountain communities hosted a yard sale and auction to raise money for the department over the weekend.
Organizers hope to raise enough money to replace the damaged trucks.
They also say any funds raised beyond what the fire department might need will go to the fire victims.
The event was held at the indoor arena off Midway Ranch Road in Fountain.
