Few Storms Tonight – More Tomorrow – 5/29/18
TONIGHT: A few remaining storms will track slowly eastward along the Arkansas River tonight. Elsewhere we remain quiet with mostly clear to partly cloudy skies. Temps in the upper 40s to low 50s, while parts of the eastern plains will be in the mid 50s.
TOMORROW: After starting the day with partly sunny skies, another round of afternoon and evening storms are possible. The threats possible with these storms will be large hail, damaging winds, and frequent lightning. Temps warm to the upper 70s to low 80s, while parts of the eastern plains will be in the mid 80s.
EXTENDED: Hot and dry conditions are back in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. As winds are expected to increase as well, high fire danger is likely on Friday. Our next best chance for showers and storms will be on Sunday.
