Stage 2 fire restrictions in place for Teller County
Due to ongoing dry conditions, the Teller County Sheriff’s Office upped the county’s fire restriction status on Tuesday.
The county is now under stage 2 restriction, which means there’s no open burning permitted and residents can’t smoke outdoors.
Deputies will be enforcing the ban and will give citations to violators, according to the sheriff’s office.
