Colorado Springs Police investigating attempted bank robbery

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) - Colorado Springs Police are investigating an attempted bank robbery.

At 6:05 p.m. Wednesday, officers from the Gold Hill Division responded to a robbery alarm at a bank in the 800 block of Cheyenne Meadows Rd.

Bank employees told police there was a robbery attempt.

CSPD robbery detectives responded to the scene and took over the investigation.
