Wet end to the week

Expect an uptick in showers and thunderstorms over the next few hours (mainly El Paso/Teller Counties).

A cold front is actively moving through the region. This will lead to an uptick in storms, and cooler temperatures. Localized flooding is possible, mainly between Colorado Springs and Denver. A key factor will be the fronts motion, and if it stalls.

FRIDAY: Temps will be chilly in the 50s and 60s to end the work-week. The first halkf of the day looks to feature on-and-off rain showers and clouds. We begin to clear and dry out during the evening.

EXTENDED: High pressure builds in for the weekend with drier air and warming temperatures. And we're back into the 80s by Sunday and early next week.
