Mild weather today and gusty tomorrow – 01/29/18

Today: We’re gearing up for relatively quiet weather! We’ll have temperatures reaching the 40s and 50s this afternoon. Partly sunny skies and high clouds will take us through the day today. Winds should be primarily light. Soak up the beautiful weather and get outdoors!

Tonight: Lows won’t be horribly frigid, but it will still be chilly! Lows drop to the 20s and 30s under partly cloudy skies.

Extended: Tomorrow, there will be high fire danger across southern Colorado! Gusty winds, dry fuels and low relative humidity levels will contribute to the risk of fast-spreading fires. Avoid outdoor burning! Tomorrow, we have a wind alert level one as we could get some gusts into the 30s. Temperatures Tuesday will soar to the 60s and 70s. Temperatures drop to the 30s and 40s Thursday. On Thursday, we also have the chance for a few rain and snow showers with little to no impacts expected.
