Marty’s Saturday Morning Forecast – Warmer Air Is On The Way – 1/27/18

Today: Sunny and crisp this morning, partly cloudy and breezy at times with seasonal temperatures in the 40s to lower 50s for the plains this afternoon, 30s to lower 40s for the mountains. On occasion the wind could gust over 20 mph at times today.

Tonight: Partly cloudy and not quite as chilly with low temperatures falling into the teens and 20s for most areas.

Extended: The air will gradually warm over the next several days. We expect passing clouds and possibly some thick mountain wave clouds at times, but we will remain dry through Tuesday. Tuesday will likely be pretty windy, but quite warm with high temperatures in the 60s to near 70 at lower elevations. Colder air will begin to slide over the area on Wednesday, and by Wednesday night into Thursday we will be tracking a chance for some snow across the area. Light snow could last into early Friday, and Friday looks like a chilly day.
