Two people injured in structure fire off Pfost Drive in Falcon

Two people were hospitalized on Friday night after a garage caught fire in Falcon.

Crews responded to the 6500 block of Pfost Drive at around 5:30 p.m. When they arrived, a detached garage was fully engulfed and threatening a home nearby.

Firefighters were able to quickly contain the flames. Once it was extinguished, the garage was deemed a complete loss. It is unknown whether the owners of the garage were at home at the time of the fire.

No firefighters were injured.

A spokesperson for the Falcon Fire Department said it might be a marijuana grow.

This is an ongoing investigation.

Agencies that responded to help Falcon FD include the Peyton Fire Protection District, Ellicott Fire Protection District, Black Forest Fire/Rescue, the El Paso County Sheriff’s Office, and AMR.
