Missing Pueblo woman found dead
PUEBLO, Colo. (KRDO) -- The Pueblo Police Department says a woman who had been missing since August 21 was found dead Thursday, but there's no evidence of foul play.
64-year-old Joyce Johnston was found dead near the intersection of 18th Street and Hudson Avenue, according to Capt. Kenny Rider. She had last been seen on August 21 nearby, at the Value Stay Inn on the 2000 block of Hudson Avenue.
Detectives say Johnston was in poor health when reported missing. Police say her family was concerned for her welfare because she left without her purse, phone and necessary medication.
