Firefighters respond to RV on fire in Colorado Springs west

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KRDO) -- Firefighters in Colorado Springs responded to an RV on fire on the west side of the city Sunday afternoon.

The incident happened near Mesa Road and Uintah Street. Residents could see smoke for miles throughout the city.

The Colorado Springs Fire Department says nobody was injured.

It's unclear if the RV was parked or being driven when it caught on fire. The cause of the fire is still under investigation.
