Severe thunderstorms over the eastern plains tonight

Today: Light showers are possible from 5-6 am across El Paso County. However, much stronger precipitation hits around 2 pm when thunderstorms cross I-25. These storms get stronger as the travel east bringing the potential to have large hail over the eastern plains. High temperatures will be in the mid-80s for Colorado Springs and low-90s for Pueblo.

Tomorrow: High temperatures will be very similar to Friday. The evening thunderstorm pattern returns bringing scattered showed over I-25 from 12 pm-6 pm with the most severe thunderstorms once again hitting the eastern plains around 5 pm.

Weekend: Cloud cover becomes few and far between with temperatures getting hotter. Most areas in the mid-to-high 90s.
