Fire danger continues: windy, warm and dry

Red flag warnings

SATURDAY: We're tracking winds 20 to 30 MPH across the region as the 403 fire continues to burn near Park and Teller County. Red Flag warnings will stay in place throughout the day and evening. Meanwhile temperatures will remain warm in the 60s today with lows in the 20s overnight.

SUNDAY: We can expect another warm day in the 60s with winds picking up, gusting up to 60 MPH in some areas, causing lingering fire danger.

EXTENDED: More snow will fall in the northern and central mountains starting with stray showers Sunday night. Snowfall will likely increase Monday morning. Winds will eventually start to die down Tuesday.
