Warmer Tuesday temperatures

HIGHS

TODAY: Mostly sunny skies will be seen through lunchtime and our highs will climb to the 60s and 70s. Some places over the Eastern Plains will reach the low 80s this afternoon. Clouds will build west of the interstate closer to 3pm today and we will see some chances for a few mountain showers through 6 or 7pm. Most other areas will stay dry.

TONIGHT: Partly cloudy skies become mostly clear and lows cool to the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: Scattered showers and storms return for Wednesday and Thursday as a cold front moves in from the northwest. Highs will be staying in the 70s and 80s both of those days. Just isolated chances for showers and storms are in the forecast Friday through Sunday. Temperatures should also get pretty hot by the last part of the weekend; look for some 80s to low 90s!
