LATE NIGHT STORMS POSSIBLE

TONIGHT: A few isolated storms could pop along I-25 before midnight. Any stronger storms remain across the Raton Mesa and the southeastern corner of the state. Most of southern Colorado remain partly cloudy skies will lows cooling to the 40s. Our mountain areas will feel some low 30s tonight.

FRIDAY: Fire weather watches are in place south of Highway 50 and through the San Luis Valley. Strong winds look to be returning along with warmer highs and low relative humidity values. Friday and Saturday

MEMORIAL DAY WEEKEND: Most of Saturday is dry; however, strong west southwest winds will be likely yielding high fire danger and increasing our warmth with temps in the 80's to low 90's for the Eastern Plains. Widespread wet weather moves in late Saturday night through Monday. Right now, it looks like we have a chance of seeing more significant moisture, so we will keep you updated through the weekend! Our highs coming along with that wet weather will only be in the 50s, 60s and low 70s. If you prefer cooler air, you are in for a treat!
