Cooler Tuesday temperatures

TODAY: Partly cloudy skies are in the forecast for your Tuesday. Highs will be cooler than yesterday and will reach the mid-60s through the Pikes Peak Region, 50s in our mountain cities and 70s over the plains. A stray thundershower or two is possible south of Highway 50 after 3pm.

TONIGHT: Partly to mostly cloudy. Overnight lows will be much warmer and will drop to the 40s and 50s.

EXTENDED: We will be dry and warm over the next two days as our highs return to the 70s and low 80s. Cooler air and showers and storms will be moving in on Friday. Highs Friday will only be topping out in the 50s in most areas. We warm back up a little bit for Saturday and Sunday but chances for wet weather stay with us.
