RECORD WARMTH POSSIBLE LATE WEEK

SUNSHINE

TONIGHT: Clear skies with lows dropping to the upper 30s and low 40s.

TOMORROW: Near-record warmth will be possible on Thursday afternoon as a ridge of high-pressure anchors across the southwestern tier of the U.S. Highs will be warming to the 70s, 80s and 90s for most of the area under a mix of clouds and sunshine.

EXTENDED:  Friday brings an isolated mountain shower or storm, with increasing chances for more widely scattered storms on Saturday. Sunday looks mainly dry right now with the exception of a mountain shower. Highs over the weekend will be in the 60s and 70s. We clear out again by early next week.
