One more quiet day – 10/22/19

TODAY: Sunshine is in the forecast today with cool highs in the 50s and 60s. Light winds also return to the area.
TONIGHT: Clear to partly cloudy and not as cold. Overnight lows will drop to the 30s.

EXTENDED: Tomorrow looks cool and breezy with changing weather after sunset. A winter storm will be dropping in from the north and will bring us accumulating snow. Winter storm watches are in place for the Palmer Divide, Teller County and places west of the interstate. They go into effect tomorrow evening and will be in place through Thursday. These may be upgraded to winter storm warnings. Rain and snow move into the Pikes Peak Region through 9PM. That changes over the snow and overtakes the I-25 corridor past midnight. Moderate to heavy accumulations look likely along I-25 and through the mountains by mid-morning on Thursday. Stay with KRDO for the latest!
