Marty’s Sunday Morning Forecast – Crisp Start – 9/22/2019

Overview: Fall officially begins next week so it isn’t surprising that the air temperature will vary some from day to day with cool nights for many, and of course we’ll have some wind.

Today: Crisp this morning under a clear sky, then slightly cooler and breezy at times this afternoon with high temperatures in the 70s to near 80 for the plains with mainly 60s over the mountains.

Tonight: Clear and cool with low temperatures in the 40s to lower 50s for the plains, mainly 30s to lower 40s over our local mountain areas .

Extended: Partly cloudy, breezy and warmer Monday & Tuesday with high temperatures back into the 80s for the plains with 70s for the mountains. There may be a few sprinkles over the mountains Monday afternoon, but we don’t expect any significant rainfall over the area. The air should cool some again for the latter half of the week with scattered showers returning to some areas on Friday.
