Flood Watch still hangs over burn scar

Today: Friday has a high temperature of 86 for Colorado Springs and 91 for Pueblo. A Flash Flood Watch is in place of Pueblo County and the Aspen Acres burn scar area from 12 pm until 11 pm. There are passing thunderstorms causing the Flood Watch. Northern storms pop up north of Colorado Springs at noon. These storms are isolated and spotty, no long duration rain is coming with them. A stronger thunderstorm passes over the Aspen Acres burn scar area at 5pm. Colorado Springs could see more thunderstorms after 8 pm. Trinidad in Las Animas County is impacted by the strongest storms after 7 pm.

Tomorrow: Saturday stays mostly dry with thunderstorms popping up over the high country areas. Temperatures are still on the incline as they warm up Sunday and Monday will be the hottest temperatures of your forecast. Colorado Springs likely to get up to the high 90s once again on Monday.
