Tracking more storms today, drier & hotter weekend

TODAY: We stay in the low 90's in Colorado Springs and mid 90's in Pueblo. Active weather won't be nearly as widespread as Tuesday and Wednesday. Expect isolated showers and thunderstorms. Any additional showers or storms over the Aspen Acres burn scar could cause more flash flooding in that area. We can't rule out isolated instances of hail, too, although we're not expecting as much as the last couple days.

TOMORROW: Highs drop a few degrees into the high 80's in Colorado Springs and low 90's in Pueblo. Storms still won't be quite as widespread as earlier in the week, but a passing cold front ups the ante from Thursday, contributing to higher chances for severe weather in the form of flash flooding (across burn scars and other flood-prone areas), 1" hail and damaging 60+ MPH winds.

EXTENDED: We're still tracking plenty of activity across the mountains this weekend, but drier conditions along and east of I-25 with just isolated storms expected as temps increase to the mid to high 90's by Sunday.
