TODAY: Temps drop several degrees as storms linger across the mountains. Highs cool to the low 90s in Colorado Springs and high 90s in Pueblo with mostly dry conditions along and east of I-25 again.

EXTENDED: FINALLY, the wetter weather pattern picks up for the Pikes Peak Region Wednesday afternoon and evening and sticks around through the weekend. Our biggest concerns are localized flash flooding (especially along burn scars) and erratic, gusty winds. Afternoon highs stay fairly consistent in the high 80s/low 90s in the Springs and mid to high 90s in Pueblo.
