WINTER STORM WARNING: EL PASO, TELLER, PALMER DIVIDE FRIDAY AND SATURDAY FOR HEAVY WET, SNOW

TONIGHT: Windy this evening… with Red Flag conditions through 9 pm. Partly cloudy and cool overnight with lows in the 40s.

TOMORROW: cloudy and colder with a brisk northwest wind. Highs in the 30's and 40's. Rain possible from noon-4pm with a transition over to snow for higher terrain areas by the evening. Roads will be wet initially then partially covered with a wet, slushy snow overnight Friday. Much colder through the weekend.

EXTENDED: Snow can be expected Friday night and through much of the day Saturday. Areas north and west of downtown Colorado Springs are currently under a Winter Storm Watch. Some areas in Teller County may see more than a foot of snow. It's looking like a few inches will be possible in Colorado Springs… and very little if any accumulations in Pueblo. Highs Saturday will only make it into the 40s.
