WEATHER ALERT: HEAVY SNOW THEN BITTER COLD

​​​​​WEATHER ALERT: Snow will overspread the region starting on Tuesday night and continue through Wednesday evening.

TONIGHT: Snow will continue overnight, with several inches possible by sunrise Wednesday morning. Overnight lows will fall into the single digits and teens. Morning impacts on roads will be felt for all areas along and near I-25

TOMORROW: Off and on snow showers on Wednesday with highs in the teens and low-20s. Storm total accumulations for Colorado Springs will range from 4" to 8" of snow. Winter Storm Warning for El Paso County until midnight Wednesday

EXTENDED: Snow tapers off Wednesday night and morning lows Thursday will dip into the negatives. We'll see gradually warmer temperatures heading into the weekend, and highs Saturday will climb into the mid and upper-40s.
