Marty’s Saturday Morning Forecast – Breezy & Very Warm Again – 10/10/2020

Overview: We’re tracking a warm, windy weekend followed by a cooler workweek.

Today: Mostly sunny and breezy to windy at times with conditions becoming favorable for the spread of wildfires of parts of eastern Colorado during the afternoon. High temperatures will reach the 70s and 80s for the plains with 60s and 70s for the mountains.

Tonight: Mostly clear with low temperatures in the 40s to lower 50s for most areas, but the high mountain valleys will cool into the 20s and 30s.

Sunday: Mostly sunny and windy with conditions becoming favorable for the spread of wildfires for many areas. We will be warm again high temperatures in the 70s and 80s for the plains and 60s to lower 70s for the mountains.

Extended: Colder air will work over the area Sunday evening. Chances for precipitation do not look good with the passage of the cold front, but the air will cool into the 60s and 70s for most areas Monday and Tuesday. Wednesday should be windy and very warm with fire weather conditions likely again. Another cold front will drop temperatures into the 60s and 70s through the end of the week, but we still look to remain dry.
