Weather alert: Snow lingers through morning commute

Scattered snow showers devloping along the I-25 corridor. More consistent snowfall possible after midnight tonight so the best chance to see snow-covered roadways is for early Tuesday morning. El Paso County snow totals at 1-3" with the Palmer Divide and Monument favored being closer to the 3" mark.

Light snow flurries continuing through the day Tuesday with minimal additional accumulation. High temperatures in the 20s and low 30s under overcast skies. It's possible for I-25 locations to see another 1-2" of snow accumulation Tuesday night into Wednesday morning.
