Heavy Rain and Flooding Threat Increasing

Moisture continues to stream into our area this evening, with isolated to scattered showers and thunderstorms expected through the evening. Although chances for heavy rain will trend down into the overnight hours, isolated flooding can't be ruled out, particularly across our southern counties. Low temperatures for most will drop into the 50s and low 60s.

Rain chances will ramp up quickly again by Wednesday afternoon. A flood risk will also increase, with the highest chances across our southern counties. Skies will remain mostly cloudy, and high temperatures will reach the low to mid 70s for most.

The upper-level winds driving our pattern will persist through Friday, with chances for widespread clouds and rain. At this time, Thursday looks to be the wettest day, with temperatures running cooler under cloudy skies. A drier and warmer weekend looks to be a good bet, with another chance for precipitation and much cooler temperatures early next week.
