Tracking an active weather week

KRDO

Today: Temperatures are still heating up providing Colorado Springs with the chance to get into the low 90s for today and tomorrow. Thunderstorms through the evening are mainly affecting the northern neighborhoods; including Black Forest, Falcon and Peyton. Storms wrap up by 5 pm with Las Animas and Baca Counties the only locations with lingering thunderstorms.

Tomorrow: Colorado Springs will likely hit 90 degrees with the overnight lows dropping into the 60's. More showers along the high country fire up around 1-2 pm. Small showers continue to make their way downslope of the Sangre De Cristos providing Custer County, and an area where we have the Aspen Acres Fire to get some showers. To kick off the work week only light precipitation is expected but more active thunderstorms are expected for Tuesday and Wednesday evening.
