COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado (KRDO)--

The heaviest snowfall of our late season storm has moved over the Southeast Foothills and Southern Plains of Colorado. Light snow will drift off the foothills for the rest of the night.

Sunday will be chilly and wet with rain and snow showers throughout the day. High temperatures will be near 50 degrees.

Much of the week ahead will be cool and wet with showers and thunderstorms, but by Friday, plenty of sun and warmer temperatures will return.

A FREEZE WARNING is in effect tonight through 8 am Sunday; cover those plants!
