COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

High fire danger continues to plague the Southeast Plains of our state. Temperatures are way above average for this time of year, and the air is very dry.

A brief shot of moisture will bring clouds to the Front Range overnight. And although there's more moisture in the atmosphere, the chances for any meaningful rain on Sunday are nil.

Expect sunshine for Sunday with highs in the upper 70s to lower 80s, and expect mostly dry weather in the week ahead. The best chance for meaningful rain comes on Friday evening and most of next Saturday.
