COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo (KRDO)--

High winds are starting to blast Southeast Colorado with gusts up to 60 mph. They'll continue to increase overnight making travel a bit tricky for motorists using I-25.

A RED FLAG WARNING remains in effect for all of Southeast Colorado until 9 PM Monday night. These high winds combined with a lack of moisture will continue to make fuels easy to burn.

Temperatures for most of this week will stay around 80 degrees, about ten degrees above average for this time of year. Overnight low temperatures will stay well above freezing, so spring planting will be a cinch.
