Hot and sunny week ahead!

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms through the evening, moving east through central Colorado. Expect most of the storms to be east of the I-25 corridor by 9pm. Gradually turning mostly clear overnight with low temperatures down to 55 degrees in Colorado Springs and 57 in Pueblo.

Monday: Morning sunshine with increasing clouds during the afternoon. High temperatures to 87 degrees in Colorado Springs and 93 in Pueblo. A few isolated showers could pop up in El Paso County, but expect the overall coverage and severity to be low.

Extended: A dominant ridge of high pressure will position over Colorado bringing plenty of sunshine and summer like temperatures. High temperatures will stay in the upper 80s and low 90s through the week ahead with little to no chance of rain through at least Friday.
