Heat Wave and Haze

Tonight: Isolated showers this evening in central/southern Colorado staying mostly west of I-25 and of low severity. The haze will continue to be an issue overnight as Air Quality Alerts are in effect for the vast majority of Colorado till 4pm Monday afternoon. Mostly clear skies overnight with low temperatures to 61 degrees in Colorado Springs and 64 in Pueblo.

Monday: Plenty of morning sunshine & haze. The air quality will remain poor through the day so if you're sensitive to particulate matter, limit the time you spend outdoors. High temperatures again coming close to records, 95 degrees in Colorado Springs, and 101 in Pueblo. Isolated afternoon showers will develop in the mountains but will struggle to reach valley locations, expect a mostly dry day along the I-25 corridor.

Extended: Temperatures staying hot through the week ahead with daily afternoon scattered showers and thunderstorms. The haze also doesn't look to be budging much, hopefully, containment on the fires continues to progress.
