Weekend Forecast

Tonight: Scattered showers and thunderstorms are currently rumbling around Las Animas/Baca Counties, producing heavy rainfall and frequent lightning. Expect these storms to fizzle out before midnight and to not cause too many problems. Colorado Springs and Pueblo will continue to remain mostly clear with temperatures to 58 degrees in El Paso County and low 60s along HWY 50.

Saturday: Plenty of morning sunshine helping temperatures reach 5-10 degrees above average for much of central/southern Colorado. Highs to 91 degrees in Colorado Springs and 100 for Pueblo. Turning partly cloudy during the early afternoon with a few isolated showers crossing I-25 after 2pm. These showers will be sparse and of low severity. Any thunderstorm activity will be contained to the higher elevations.

Sunday: Even fewer precipitation chances during the daytime with high temperature in the 90s and low 100s. Evening thunderstorms are possible in the far eastern plains, but the I-25 corridor is looking mostly dry.
