The Week Ahead

Tonight: Isolated showers and thunderstorms possible along HWY 50 and in eastern Colorado, with little to no chance of precipitation along I-25. Gradually the showers will taper off overnight and turn mostly clear. Fire Weather Warnings are in effect for the majority of SE Colorado till 8pm tonight. Temperatures staying mild, with lows to 55 degrees in Colorado Springs and 61 in Pueblo.

Monday: Elevated fire weather continues with plenty of sunshine to start the day. Temperatures again running about 10 degrees above average. Reaching near 90 in Colorado Springs and into the mid-90s across HWY 50. Isolated afternoon showers in far SE Colorado with most locations staying dry. Afternoon wind gusts to 25mph along I-25, stronger wind gusts possible in the plains.

Extended: High temperatures in the 80s and 90s through the work week with afternoon showers and thunderstorms possible Tuesday, Thursday, and Friday.
