Beautiful weekend with changes coming late Sunday

Increasing cloud coverage for Saturday, but not slowing down the current warming trend. Highs in the upper 50s to 60s in the Pikes Peak region. Again staying dry under a ridge of high pressure that will begin to exit the state as we head into Sunday.

Sunday morning and early afternoon looking pleasant with temperatures into the 50s but an approaching cold front will transport rain/snow back into Colorado by late afternoon. Precipitation looks to initially start as rain showers for most valley locations then change to snow showers overnight into Monday. Still quite a bit of uncertainty in the forecast, but at the moment snow totals through Monday morning looking on the low side, less than an inch along I-25. But stay tuned through the weekend for updates on that snow forecast.
