New Year’s Forecast

Tonight: Temperatures once again dropping into the single digits along the I-25 corridor with light winds and no chance of precipitation. Alamosa and Gunnison will reach about -25 degrees, making them some of the coldest cities in North America this evening.

New Year's Eve: Plenty of sunshine through the day with afternoon high temperatures into the low 40s and staying dry. Evening temperatures will be in the teens for El Paso and Pueblo counties so bundle up if you're headed out to celebrate! Driving conditions will be good for travelers.

Extended: Gradually turning partly to mostly cloudy Wednesday afternoon as a weak cold front approaches Colorado from the pacific northwest. Central Colorado mountains are likely to see 3-5in of snow accumulation by Thursday morning making for winter driving conditions on I-70 Thursday. I-25 locations will stay mostly dry with a few chance showers and flurries early Thursday morning.
