Snowy weekend ahead!

Tonight: Staying dry across the I-25 corridor this evening with temperatures down to about 24 degrees in both Colorado Springs and Pueblo. Winds across the far eastern side of the state will calm down overnight.

Thursday: Partly cloudy skies with temperatures still approaching 10 degrees above average for December. Light winds in El Paso and Pueblo Counties. Stronger winds possible south of Walsenburg. Dry conditions for valley locations with snow starting west of Park County late this evening.

Extended: A cold front this weekend push snow into Colorado Springs by early Sunday morning, with snow expected to fall through the day. Accumulation totals are still a little uncertain, but 2-4" in Colorado Springs by late Sunday night is possible.
