High Fire Danger Wednesday 10-8-19

TONIGHT: Clear and cool with lows dropping to the upper 30s and low to mid 40s.

WEDNESDAY: Dry , Windy and Warm with temps in the 70’s and 80’s . High Fire Danger for much of southern Colorado.

EXTENDED: Strong cold front moves through early Thursday morning. This one will be particularly strong and will bring us our first taste of winter this season. Look for a 40+ degree drop in temps, wind gusts between 40-50 mph and some snow. Right now accumulation looks minor, with cold being the bigger issue. Wind chills will likely be in the teens to near single digits in coldest areas. Highs will be in the 20s over the mountains with 30s and 40s along and east of I-25.
