09/14/19 Forecast Discussion

Tonight: Staying mostly clear this evening across the I-25/HWY 50 corridors with light winds and temperatures down to 52 degrees in Colorado Springs and 55 in Pueblo. A few isolated showers will pop up across Las Animas County, but the overall severity and coverage of these storms will be low.

Sunday: Mostly sunny skies to start off the morning gradually turning partly cloudy by early afternoon. High temperatures will remain about ten degrees above average for mid-September, 85 in Colorado Springs and 92 in Pueblo. Winds will pick up after 3pm with gusts to about 25mph in central and southeastern Colorado. Isolated mountain thunderstorms across the Sangre’s and Wet Mountain Ranges are possible so for a few of the burn scar areas, flash flooding is a concern. Staying dry for I-25.
