Today: Mostly sunny skies in Central/Eastern Colorado today helping temperatures reach about 5 degrees above average. 81 degrees in Colorado Springs with HWY 50 locations slightly warmer into the low 90’s. Winds will kick up late morning with gusts to about 25 mph but the breezy conditions won’t last long, as the winds will die off by mid-afternoon. Minimal rain chances today for I-25/HWY 50, Las Animas County could see a few isolated thunderstorms.

Tomorrow: Entering into a slight warming trend through the weekend with temperatures in El Paso Coutny into the high 80’s and again low 90’s for HWY 50. Nothing but sunshine and slim to no rain chances.

Extended: Continuing the dry spell into our Sunday, enjoy it. Those pesky diurnal thunderstorms will return next week.
