Hazy conditions continue with hot and dry conditions on the way

This evening we will see hazy conditions, that will eventually give way to mostly clear skies. We will have breezy conditions with winds out of the southeast at around 5- 10 mph. Expect overnight lows down into the mid to upper 50s.

Thursday will bring us partly cloudy skies and another round of hazy conditions for most of us here in Southern Colorado. It will be noticeably warmer, with highs in the mid 90s here in the Pikes Peak Region and even hotter out on the Eastern Plains. We do have a slight chance of a shower or storm, mainly south near the New Mexico Border.

Temperatures will continue to get hotter as we head into Friday. We will still see patchy smoke with partly cloudy skies and high in the mid to upper 90s along the I-25 Corridor, and triple digit heat out on the Eastern Plains.

Hot and dry conditions will continue on Saturday and Sunday with highs once again in the mid to upper 90s, and triple digit heat out on the Plains.

The heat continues for Monday with high in the upper 90s and partly cloudy skies.

We could see the return of monsoon moisture as we head into the middle part of next week.
