More showers and thunderstorms with the possibility of severe storms on the Eastern Plains

Tonight we will see mostly cloudy skies with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could become severe as they race east across the Eastern Plains. The storms that do become severe could pack small hail, and heavy rain. We will have to watch for the potential for flash flooding over the Aspen Acres Burn scar area. Overnight lows will fall into the mid 50s.

Thursday will bring us partly cloudy skies with another chance for showers and thunderstorms We will see highs in the mid 80s.

We will see drier conditions for Friday and Saturday with just a slight chance of showers and thunderstorms. Expect highs in the lower 90s.

Storm chance start to ramp up once again on Sunday and Monday, with high in the mid to upper 80s. We will see a good chance for showers and storms on both days.
