Scattered afternoon and evening storms each day this week

Tonight we will see mostly cloudy skies with a good chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain and small hail. Overnight lows will fall into the upper 50s.

We have another good chance for showers and thunderstorms on Tuesday. It will be on the breezy side with winds out of the northwest at around 10 to 15 mph. It will be cooler with highs in the mid 80s.

Wednesday looks to be the wettest day of the week with a continued chance of showers and thunderstorms. Some of the storms could produce heavy rain. We will have to watch for the potential for flash flooding in the Aspen Burn Scar area. Highs will climb into the lower 80s.

The chance of afternoon and evening showers and thunderstorms continues on Thursday, Friday and right through the weekend. Expect highs near 90 degrees.
